APCC is always looking for motivated, enthusiastic individuals to lend a hand in many of our programs. Whether you prefer to work with adults or with youth, you will find volunteering with APCC to be a very rewarding experience!

Volunteer opportunites are currently available with our Adult Literacy Program.

Currently, APCC needs volunteer tutors for adult students in:

• English as a Second Language (ESL)
• Basic Literacy
• Math
• Citizenship

We require that our tutors attend a free 12-hour training offsite and commit to about 4 hours per week, meeting with student(s) twice per week for 2 hours per session.  Morning, afternoon, evening and Saturday hours are available.  We also ask for a minimum of a 6-month commitment from our volunteer tutors.
