Join APCC in Welcoming Our New CEO, Harold Rice!

Albany Park Community Center would like to welcome Harold T. Rice, who became our new Chief Executive Officer on November 3, 2008! The appointment was announced by Frank Kross, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Albany Park Community Center. Mr. Rice succeeds Diane M. Yost, who retired earlier this year. Mr. Rice comes to APCC from the United Way of Metropolitan Chicago where he served as Chief Development Officer. As a corporate officer, he analyzed critical resource development, recommended appropriate strategies and created and directed a multi-year fundraising plan. The scope of his knowledge and previous responsibilities include extensive marketing experience as well as team-building, leadership and employee/management development efforts. A successful entrepreneur, Mr. Rice has launched a number of strategic initiatives that lead to greater revenue and profit growth. Mr. Rice earned an Associate of Arts Degree in Engineering Technology from Kennedy-King College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota. He completed post-graduate studies in management at Cardinal Stritch University and received his Master of Science Degree.

"Based on his extensive knowledge and experience, he will brings a new vision and direction to this organization that will be a major asset to the future development of its programs."
